The first time I came into this Store I thought I walked into the wrong store, I saw clothes, shoes, buckets, containers of all sizes, and so much more. I turned around and asked a person behind me is this Kroger's? They said yes, I said thank you I've never been in a Kroger's like this before it's really nice. I went into the store for a gift bag and card and my husband waited in the car, when I came out he asked what took you so long? I said I've never seen a Kroger's like this, it has everything. I will definitely be coming back time and time again.
Been shopping at this location for years! Tried to exchange a 5$item that was bad! Didn't get much help from costumer service! Talked to Nell,horrible and rude! Manager was no help either. Bought same item and exchanged it 5 min later! Can't wait for HEB to open!
First, they have remodeled this store, I'm sure to compete with the HEB opening soon across the street. They have added touches as HEB does throughout the store to look like HEB, the only issue I have with that is the lack of service I got at the bakery section. I was purchasing a birthday cake and the cake “writer” had just gone home so I asked if someone else could do it or if they could get me a supervisor so I could be allowed to use what they had to write a name on the cake. The Lady just said NO and said I could go purchase what it would take to write the name and do it myself. I told her that wouldn't be an issue at HEB and she said oh well.
This is the second time I have interacted with Nel. I remember the first time because she was new to the area and we both were talking about where we were originally from. She's the absolute sweetest And just very kind. I was having a really bad night tonight and she gave me some tissue to wipe my tears. Little girls running the self check out on the grocery entrance were very disrespectful to my husband and I, the one with glasses snuck up behind him and slapped a random sticker on one of our items without telling us why or even just an ‘excuse me’ WHILE we were still checking out. Then proceeded to say my husbands ID was expired with a very condescending voice, he then pointed out it was in fact in date, and still tried to say something smart.
I absolutely dread going to the store for all the reasons mentioned below. Today was straw that broke it for me. I watched an elderly woman with a cane push her full cart to a lane where the one and only live checker was working. The checker turned her away because he needed his brake. Didn't call a manager to assist the poor lady, but told her to self check out... I would have helped normally, but I was running late to an appointment. I have talked to the store manager before, and there is no wonder the store is in the shape that it's in... An employee told me the store manager is getting promoted to bigger store soon. If I didn't have a job I would picket in front of the store to shut it down.
I’m not typically a complainer but this was bad. To start, the bathrooms were atrocious. It looked like they hadn’t been touched in months. Rosie, my check out lady, was not friendly whatsoever. As I was putting everything onto the counter she was rushing to scan everything. Of course there’s not enough baggers so I was running back and forth (literally sweating) to try to rush and bag all my groceries. Meanwhile, she was giving me dirty looks as I was trying to bag as fast as I can. She saw me sweating and all my groceries piling up faster than I could bag them so she ended up bagging two things for me and forgot to give me one of my items! The other item she wouldn’t even hand me so I had to go around to grab myself as she just starts checking the next person out. She wouldn’t even answer me when I asked her if my alternate ID worked. Do not recommend this store. I cannot wait for HEB so I can take my business there.
Good collection of fresh veggies & fruit. overall, bakery section, frozen & packaged goods are also well setup. neat & clean environment, friendly stuffs and good deals in regular basis. Sometimes it used to get crowded and long lines for check out but they are expanding and having some work’s going on the store - hopefully that will clear up the problem.
